Finnland 100 år

14.10.2017 we have a concert in Stockholm, at Musikvalvet Baggen, which celebrates the centennial of the Land of Thousand Lakes. Duo Kleio performs among Finnish pieces the music of Sweden and Norway. Geografical and historical connections to these countries Finland has had since the beginning of times. The program consists of classical music, folk music and even famous finnish tangos are included.
Musikvalvet Baggen is hosting musical events at the old city centrum of Stockholm. We are exited to play our program at this totally historical location: among others, 400 years old composition of Swedish composer Johan Roman will be played inside almost 600 years old walls.

Hugo Wolf’s year

All our concerts celebrating this spring the 160th birthday of Hugo Wolf were unfortunately cancelled. For compensation we recorded in the distance one song “Wohl kenn’ ich Euren Stand” of the Suite, that Ivan arranged from the “Italian Songbook” for the piano trio. Our biggest thanks for our wonderful pianist, Davorin Dolinšek!Read more
